Commercial electrician on the Wirral
Installations, upgrades, testing and maintenance for shops, offices and rental properties, planned around your business.

For a business, electrics that fail cost more than the repair: closed doors, lost trade and staff sitting idle. You need an electrician who turns up when agreed, works around your hours, keeps you informed and leaves the premises safe and certified.
We carry out electrical work for shops, offices, small commercial units and rental properties across the Wirral, Merseyside and Chester. With 22 years in the trade and over 2,650+ jobs completed for homes and businesses, we bring the same clear communication and careful workmanship to every site.
Much commercial work is about keeping things running: a new circuit for a till point or coffee machine, extra sockets for a reconfigured office, lighting that finally makes a stockroom usable, or tracing the fault that keeps tripping the power every afternoon. We also take on bigger projects such as refits and board upgrades, and the remedial work that follows an inspection. Whatever the size of the job, you get one point of contact, a clear written quote and a certificate at the end.

Your duty to keep the electrics safe
The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 place a legal duty on employers, and anyone in control of business premises, to maintain electrical systems so they do not cause danger. Regular inspection and testing is the usual way to show you have met it, and insurers often ask for proof.
For most shops and offices, industry guidance recommends a periodic inspection, an EICR, at least every five years, and sooner for premises with heavy use or a change of occupant. If you let residential property, the private rented sector rules require an EICR at least every five years in England, with any C1, C2 or FI items put right within 28 days.
We explain the report in plain English and quote clearly for anything that needs doing, so you can plan and budget. We also label circuits clearly and keep your distribution board schedule up to date, so the next person to work on the installation, or your own staff resetting a breaker, knows exactly what is what.

Why businesses choose us
Clear communication. You know when we are arriving, what we are doing and when the power will be off. No surprises on the invoice.
Proper certification. We are NAPIT approved, Part P registered and on the Electric Safe Register. You get the right certificate for every job: an Electrical Installation Certificate for new circuits, a Minor Works Certificate for smaller jobs, or an EICR for an inspection.
Certified components and a guarantee. We use certified components throughout, test everything before we leave, and our work comes with a satisfaction and performance guarantee.
Discipline on site. As an Armed Forces Veteran-owned business, we run jobs the way the Navy taught us: tidy, organised and finished when we said it would be.
Landlords with several properties use us for rewires and inspections between tenancies. One described us doing “a number of rewires and EICRs” on their residential properties. For an old or dim workplace, our lighting upgrades can cut running costs and improve the working environment.
Commercial electrical questions
All questionsDo you give free quotes?
Yes. Tell us what you need by phone, WhatsApp or the form on this site and we will give you a clear quote before any work starts. For bigger jobs such as a rewire we come and look first, so the price is based on your actual property, not a guess.
How often do I need an EICR?
Landlords in England must have one at least every five years, or sooner if the last report says so, and give a copy to tenants. For homeowners, every ten years is the usual recommendation, and whenever you buy a property.
Can you work around our business hours?
Yes. For shops, offices and rental properties we plan the work so it causes as little disruption as possible, and can arrange testing and changeovers at quieter times.
